Mission Statement – Jamaica Strong Foundation

The Jamaica Strong Foundation helps communities across Jamaica recover and rebuild after Hurricane Melissa. We focus on sending help directly where it’s needed most — to the people, families, and places that were hardest hit.

Our mission is to bring real, lasting support by:

• Giving direct donations to trusted local groups and community projects so every dollar makes a difference.

• Helping with urgent needs like food, shelter, clean water, and with long-term recovery by rebuilding homes, schools, and livelihoods.

• Rebuilding a climate resilient infrastructure , so that communities are stronger and safer when the next storm comes.

• Providing shelter, sustenance, and veterinary care to animals displaced by the hurricane as part of our commitment to rebuilding the island’s natural fabric.

• Being honest and transparent, sharing updates and showing clearly how donations are used.

The road to recovery will be long, together we are Jamaica Strong. We believe in Jamaica’s strength—its people, its spirit, and its power to rise again.
